Cancer Copay Relief is a non-profit organization which is committed to the amelioration of suffering in the cancer community.  Our mission is simple:  To share the burden of cancer by providing financial assistance to those currently undergoing treatment.

Cancer Copay Relief was started in the Fall of 2009 after Executive Director, Josiah DeVore saw a need.  One morning, while receiving the first chemotherapy treatment for his own disease, Josiah saw a patient next to him balancing her check book.  It was then that he realized how very real financing cancer was, and how deeply it could affect people.

He did what anyone would do, called people he knew that could get the job done right and with an integrity equal to the challenge.  Together, they chose to share the burden, and formed Cancer Copay Relief.

The Foundation is managed by a volunteer staff and a  Board of Directors.  It is incorporated in the state of Georgia, and is currently IRS 501(c)(3) IRS tax exempt.
